The faster you go, the slower time moves.

Ezekiel returned in 2077. He only had one goal now. He’d been to the edge of the universe and looked back on his course, seeing through to the beginning of time. NASA wanted information. The public shouted questions he refused to answer.

He was the youngest deep-space explorer ever. He was born in 2001, left the planet in 2029, and returned to a labyrinth made from the future.

Eventually, he found who he sought.

Ezekiel knelt by his son’s side. Early onset dementia. No recognition.

At thirty-two, he buried his sixty-five-year-old son.
